The Meditative Moment
Take a moment today to observe your surroundings. Place your hands on your heart and feel your heartbeat while you listen to the birds, watch cars drive by, notice your pets or children playing, observe how your loved one chops the veggies for dinner, pay attention to the leaves dancing in the wind. Maintain silence as you observe, but allow your eyes to roam. Then return to your heartbeat. You are here, in this space, in the midst of this activity. Then join it, refreshed and attentive.
