Thin Space No. 34: Grief's Texture

The Question

What is the texture of your grieving these days?

The Intention

Discernment

The Meditative Moment

Take some time today to ponder your grieving. How does it feel? Sharp, biting, ever-present, edgy, crackly, fragile, obnoxious, crumbly, soft, warm, distant, wavering, throbbing, suffocating, gentle, comforting, overwhelming, manageable, fluffy, electric? Come up with your own adjectives for the grief you’re experiencing. No adjective is too silly. Did you see that I included fluffy in my list? That’s pretty random, and yet, there are days when my grief has felt fluffy. Maybe yours does too.
