Thin Space No. 22: Be Curious

The Question

What are you curious about?

The Intention

The Meditative Moment

Take some time to investigate something today. What’s going on with the James Webb telescope? How do tendons work? What is the chemical makeup of your favorite food? Why isn’t Pluto a planet? What did medieval nuns eat? What are the native plants for your area? Who invented the yo-yo? How did your favorite musical style come about? Explore. It doesn’t have to be serious or academic, but it can be. It doesn’t have to be silly or off the wall, but it can be. We can get so wrapped up in the must-dos of day-to-day life—and this can absolutely exhaust us—but it’s important to take a moment to be curious too, to wonder and marvel and ask and critique.
