How would you describe the ways that anxiety affects your physical body?
The Meditative Moment
Place your feet on the ground. Notice how your weight is distributed on your feet. Is it more to the front, on the balls of the feet, or to the back, on the heels? Pick up your toes, spread them out, then set them back down. Notice how and if the sides of the sole touch the earth. Is the ground cool or warm? Is the ground soft, hard, rough, or smooth? Feel the strength of your body grounded in the earth and extending upward to the sky. Thank your feet for how they support you, move you, and ground you.
